MEGAN KING, MSW, LGSW
THERAPY APPROACH
Megan believes that the foundation of effective therapy is a strong, trusting relationship. She blends warmth, curiosity, and genuine collaboration with evidence-based strategies to address a wide range of mental health concerns. Specializing in obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, anxiety disorders, panic, phobias, and depression, Megan tailors each session to the individual using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also has specialized training in parent coaching, supporting caregivers in addressing their child’s emotional and behavioral needs through Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE).

Drawing from a person-in-environment perspective and a strengths-based framework, Megan supports meaningful and lasting change. Her grounded, approachable style fosters a sense of comfort and belonging in an inclusive, culturally responsive environment. Committed to meeting clients where they are, she offers a judgment-free space that emphasizes self-acceptance, empowerment, and the belief that each client has the capacity to create the change they seek. Megan is currently receiving supervision from Natasha Parekh, PhD, LP, and Heather Wakefield, LICSW.
