ABOUT JESSICA SKLAR
THERAPY APPROACH
Jessica specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. She also works with parents and other close family members of her clients to help them better understand and support their loved ones. Prior to Novo, Jessica worked in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs with individuals struggling with depression, OCD, and anxiety-based disorders, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic, and other phobias.
Jessica implements evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She listens to her clients, helps build awareness surrounding problem behaviors, and teaches skills for challenging unhelpful patterns and actively confronting fears. Jessica’s non-judgmental and collaborative approach helps her clients to reach their individualized goals, gain confidence, and increase their overall functioning and well-being. At this time, Jessica is offering telehealth (audiovisual) therapy sessions.
