SCOTTI MARTIN

THERAPY APPROACH

Scotti is a master’s level practicum student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of St. Thomas. Her clinical interests center on working with children, adolescents, and families, helping them navigate developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges with compassion and collaboration.

Scotti brings several years of experience supporting children and families in a variety of settings. As a Lead Behavioral therapist, she worked closely with young children and their parents, teaching new skills, building emotional regulation, and problem-solving disruptive behaviors with care and creativity. She values collaborating with parents to better understand their child’s needs and to equip them with strategies that foster growth and positive relationships. Scotti also has experience working with adolescents in crisis, approaching each with compassion, respect, and a commitment to helping them feel heard and supported.

Scotti is passionate about creating a safe and affirming therapeutic space where both children and parents feel understood. She believes in the power of compassionate listening, collaborative problem-solving, and evidence-based strategies to help clients build skills, strengthen resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
