Sigrid is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry, including first-episode psychosis, autism, eating disorders, and ADHD. She advocates for a collaborative approach that integrates clinical medication management with lifestyle and therapeutic interventions. By prioritizing active listening and a deep respect for family values, she ensures that every treatment plan is rooted in the patient’s lived experience.

Sigrid earned her PMHNP degree from Regis University and completed a prestigious Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) Fellowship at UC San Diego. During this fellowship, she gained expert mentorship in specialized settings, including UCSD’s Eating Disorder Center, outpatient psychotherapy, and partial hospitalization programs.

Her clinical perspective is deeply informed by her years as a pediatric RN at Children’s Minnesota. Working at the bedside in medical-surgical, neuroscience, and mental health units, she witnessed firsthand how patients respond to medications and interventions in real-time. This experience gave her a profound understanding of the interplay between physical and mental health. Today, that "bedside-first" perspective remains at the heart of her practice, ensuring her patients and their families remain the central focus of their own care.
