KADIE DEBOW, PHD, LP

THERAPY APPROACH

Kadie enjoys supporting children and teens with big emotions and behaviors to help improve the family’s daily life. She finds strengths in every child and family and hopes to help parents enjoy being around their kids to sustain warm relationships. She is compassionate, nonjudgmental and has been described as “friendly but firm,” an approach that often helps children work toward their goals, while knowing they are cared for and appreciated.

Kadie strives to individualize care for each family’s unique needs while implementing evidence-based practices. She uses a collaborative, multicultural approach, rooted in behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy. Kadie is a certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based therapy for kids ages 2-7 with behaviors concerns and/or trauma histories. She also has extensive training in pediatric psychology and trauma-informed care, specializing in early childhood (1-5) and also working with older kids and teens experiencing anxiety or behavioral concerns. At this time, Kadie is offering in person and telehealth (audiovisual) therapy sessions.
